欧美AV is pleased to announce that two new Obstetrics and Gynaecology Education and 欧美AV (OGET) hubs in the Murrumbidgee and Hunter New England Local Health Districts launched in 2025. 欧美AV commenced on 1 August 2025, delivering specialist-led education directly to rural clinicians across NSW.
These hubs strengthen local obstetrics and gynaecological services by reducing the need for long distance travel, providing targeted simulation training and supporting workforce capability in smaller and remote hospitals.
OGET Hub network across NSW
The new hubs have increased OGET reach in New South Wales, coordinating education across an additional ten rural and remote hospital sites. This structure ensures consistent, high鈥憅uality learning for clinicians working in dispersed locations.

What the OGET Hubs deliver
The hubs provide a wide range of topic鈥憇pecific and simulation鈥慴ased training tailored to regional needs, including obstetric emergency training, gynaecology training and skill-based workshops.
The sessions support real-world clinical decision鈥憁aking and help teams rehearse responses to low鈥慺requency, high-risk events.
欧美AV Fellows and Associates deliver hands鈥憃n, specialist鈥憀ed training directly to rural teams, reducing the need for long鈥慸istance travel and supporting workforce sustainability. Sessions are tailored to the priorities of each site, ensuring training is practical, relevant and responsive to local service needs.
Strengthening obstetrics and gynaecological care across NSW
By expanding OGET into the Murrumbidgee and Hunter New England regions, 欧美AV aims to support the development of more confident, capable and well鈥慶onnected obstetrics and gynaecology care teams across rural NSW.
The program will continue until 28 February 2027 and 欧美AV is seeking ongoing national funding to sustain access to high鈥憅uality training for rural and remote health services across Australia.
