About the program

The 欧美AV Advanced Associate Procedural 欧美AV Program (APTP) is intended for medical practitioners who have gained skills in obstetrics through the CWH and PTP and wish to develop them to a level that will enable them to safely undertake complex deliveries and perform more advanced gynaecological procedures.

The APTP builds on the knowledge and skills developed through the Certificate of Women鈥檚 Health (CWH) and the Procedural 欧美AV Program (PTP). The APTP may be undertaken as a standalone program following completion of the CWH and PTP, or concurrently in combination with these programs.

The program runs for a timeframe of six (6) –听 twelve (12) months minimum to two (2) years maximum to complete the program logbook and examination requirements. Four (4) years if completing multiple programs concurrently.

Eligibility

You must be:听

  • Enrolled or have completed the CWH and PTP (and maintained membership).
  • In your second or subsequent postgraduate year (PGY2).
  • Commencing or currently undertaking a hospital appointment at a 欧美AV-approved training site.

欧美AV requirements

To receive the 欧美AV Associate 欧美AV Program (Adv. Procedural), you must satisfactorily complete all requirements outlined below within two years of commencement of training, or within four years if completing two or more programs simultaneously.

Trainees will be provided with access to the College鈥檚 training platform ; a portal that allows trainees to access, record and submit their course requirements online.
