About our Affiliate Members
The College offers the following Affiliate memberships.

Benefits of Membership
欧美AV is proud to support a community of over 8,000 members and trainees working in obstetrics and gynaecology across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. Membership supports you throughout your career, providing access to education, training, clinical resources, and networks which help you grow, maintain excellence, and deliver high-quality care.

Pacific Affiliates
As a Pacific Affiliate member, O&G specialists based in the Pacific can access 欧美AV resources and scholarships, and participate in the 欧美AV CPD Program for Pacific O&G specialists.

- Certificate: Specialist Medical Quali铿乧ation (Master of Medicine MMed in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, or equivalent)
- Certificate: Postgraduate Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology
- Certificate: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery
- Current Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Current Annual Practising Certificate (from Medical Board/Medical Council)
- Certificate of Registration as a Specialist Medical Practitioner (if available/optional)
Applications for Affiliate Membership are assessed by the Global Health Committee and sent to the 欧美AV Board for approval. The Global Health Committee meets three times a year.
Ongoing membership is subject to participation in 欧美AV’s Continuing Professional Development program.

CPD Affiliates
欧美AV has received initial accreditation as a CPD Home from the Australian Medical Council (AMC).
From January 2024, all doctors who hold medical registration with the will be required to nominate a CPD Home.

Ongoing membership is subject to payment of the annual International Affiliate subscription fee, which must be paid by 1 July. Log into the College’s online portal, to complete these actions.
Once your application as an International Affiliate has been processed, you will be able to log in to Acquire and download the听 to signify your membership. It can be used on office stationery, including letterhead and business cards, email signatures, room signage and presentation slides. By asking you to log in, we protect the integrity of the logo and guard against its misuse.

Prevocational Affiliates
Members of the Prevocational Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society of Australia and New Zealand (PVOGS) are also afforded membership as a Prevocational Affiliate of 欧美AV.
Please note: Prevocational Affiliate membership is independent to registration to the 欧美AV Prevocational Pathway (PVP). Prevocational Affiliate membership does not link or award any credit to the PVP Pathway or selection for the F欧美AV training program.
