Meeting your CAPE Requirements

From 2025, the Medical Board of Australia (MBA) requires all CPD Homes to include specific 鈥榩rogram-level requirements鈥 to ensure safe, inclusive, and ethical healthcare. These requirements apply to medical practitioners in both Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. 欧美AV supports CPD participants with guidance, resources, and activity options to meet these obligations. 欧美AV has prioritised the following aspects for 2026:

  • Addressing Health Inequities: Recognising and reducing disparities in health outcomes and access. Focuses on social determinants, policy advocacy, and interventions for marginalised populations
  • Ethical Practice: Morally informed decisions in healthcare, considering patient rights, values, autonomy, and wellbeing. Informed consent, confidentiality, beneficence, non-maleficence, and justice is prioritised.

For more information and to review the CAPE requirements go to Program Updates 鈥 欧美AV. A list of recommended activities to meet your 2026 CAPE requirements is available in the Resources section on and the CPD app.
