欧美AV has published the statement: Volunteering or Working in Women’s Healthcare in Low-and Middle-Income Countries.
Developed for 欧美AV Fellows, Trainees and Members across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand, the statement outlines key principles and good practice strategies for working in women’s healthcare in resource-limited settings, including the Pacific.
What we do
In collaboration with local and Pacific partners, 欧美AV aims to build the capacity of the O&G workforce in Pacific Island countries through support for training, education, research and advocacy. We:
- Support O&G training in the Pacific.
- Contribute to the professional development of Pacific O&G specialists.
- Encourage and enable Fellows, Members and Trainees from Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand to engage in global women’s health, including our activities to support O&G workforce capacity building in the Pacific.
