Senior secondary students resident in Australia or New Zealand can apply for the $1,000 Liam and Frankie Davison award for outstanding achievement in literary writing on women鈥檚 health. ApplyContact UsEligibility
Applications are open to students in their final three years of secondary school (Years 10, 11 or 12 in Australia and Years 11, 12 or 13 in New Zealand).
All applications must include a completed application form and an original literary piece of not more than 1000 words on any topic of interest in women鈥檚 health (examples might include an opinion piece on a social issue, a short story or a report).

Winning entries
We continue to be impressed the high standard of entries we receive for this award and the knowledge of young people, and their interest in writing about, women鈥檚 health topics. Difficult topics such as breast cancer, pregnancy loss, mental health difficulties, the gender health gap, violence, societal expectations, threats to reproductive rights and menstrual taboo are addressed. However, the authors themselves provide hope and inspiration through their thoughtful, creative, informative, passionate submissions.
